Jerry Jefferson has picked up a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double to lead Triumph to a 94-82 victory over Kedainiai/Triobet, their second win in as many nights. Going 12-for-19 from the floor, Jefferson would have his biggest return to date this season in the BBL, aiding his team's charge up the BBL standings with the Moscow-based club now sitting tied for second overall. Young star Sergey Karasev was another highlight of Triumph's win, tying his season-high score of 19 points while also providing seven rebounds. Similar to an evening previous, Triumph went out strong to put themselves in an early position of dominance that would barely be challenged all night. Jefferson was showing good strength from the outset inside the paint before Karasev would unleash a spectacular three-point shot from just inside the half on the buzzer to put Valdemaras Chomicius' team up by 12 at the end of the opening frame. Their dominance continued in the second frame as Jefferson continued to hit his shot, assuring the 12-point lead was maintained at halftime. The lead only continued to grow following halftime as Triumph stretched their lead out to 20 points, all but confirming the win with 10 minutes to play. With nine points in the final quarter Paulius Beliavicius was able to make sure the lead would not continue to grow but Triumph's victory would never look like coming under threat. Beliavicius would finish with 12 points, four less than teammate Vytenis Jasikevicius who would contribute 16 off the bench.
